I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
